BONSAI

One of the fundamental elements of the Japanese art form known as bonsai is the cultivation of tiny plants in restricted areas. Using techniques including pruning, wiring, and soil management, it has been in use since the 13th century and results in trees that resemble mature, full-sized trees. Bonsai trees may be made from a range of tree species and can be trained to take on a variety of shapes. A symmetrical, aesthetically pleasing miniature representation of nature is the goal of bonsai.
